Boissy Chaussures, a company that is proud of its origins in Haute-Loire.
With a history anchored in the Department of Haute-Loire, ever since it set up its first shoe making workshop in 1920, and its factory was built in 1947 in Laussonne, the family firm Boissy Chaussures has always sought to assert its attachment to Made in Haute-Loire and by extension to Made in France.
Its strong commitment to the Department and the region occupy a significant place in the company’s values. Boissy Chaussures is proud to fly the flag of Haute-Loire in the rest of France and even on the export market with its quality shoe production that relies on the skills and know-how of its 140 local employees.
Boissy Chaussures’ special skills.
Boissy Chaussures is one of the last artisan and industrial manufacturers in Haute-Loire – and even in France – to use the hand sewing technique in the design of its men’s and women’s shoes. A guarantee of quality, this craftsmanship is one of the advantages of the Boissy Chaussures brand, compared to its competitors.
Specialised in the production of moccasins, Boissy Chaussures offers elegant, modern and comfortable shoes, available all over France from over 600 independent shops. The company is frequently commissioned by national and international retail chains to produce their own brand shoes. Boissy is therefore always open to joint operations and design projects with specific studies outside its own collections.
