A new range of orthopaedic shoes signed Boissy Chaussures.
Boissy Chaussures, a family firm founded in 1947 in Laussonne in Haute-Loire, is developing a new line of orthopaedic products, applying all its know-how in footwear comfort in order to break into the medical world.
Boissy Chaussures’ orthopaedic shoes are particularly recommended to compensate for foot conditions such as bunions, fallen arches, diabetes, hyperkeratosis, etc. Currently the range consists of about thirty models that are extensible and deformable thanks to elastic side sections Most of the models offer total opening for easy introduction of the foot without forcing or pain. The range of orthopaedic shoes combines elegance and medical virtues.
The creation of footwear specially for the medical and para-medical field was an obvious choice for Boissy Chaussures, given that the virtues of foot comfort and well-being have been part of the company’s commitments for many years. The Research and Development department has designed a range of orthopaedic models that are made in Laussonne in Haute-Loire.
At the same time, Boissy Chaussures has designed a goatskin insole with polyurethane or latex foam to dampen and absorb up to 80% of the impacts from walking transferred to the foot. Further facilitating the step cycle without discomfort to the foot, the Boissy Chaussures moccasins also have a cushioned, non-slip outer sole.
As part of its new developments, Boissy is always open to joint operations and design projects with specific studies outside its own collections.
